IF YOU HAVE BEEN TO PERALTA WHY NOT BECOME A CONTRIBUTOR ?

We aim to publish twice a year, in January and in July. Deadline for submission to Issue Two is 1st June 2005.

• poems
• short stories
• extracts from work in progress (novel, biography, non-fiction etc)
• memoirs
• drawings
• paintings
• letters and comments

We do not wish to edit material submitted, but can only accept short manuscripts (suggested maximum length 1500 words).

All submissions should include full name, postal address, telephone and fax numbers, as well as e-mail address. (If you do not wish all details to be published, just let us know.) All material must be submitted via email to both editors simultaneously, with subject label ‘PERALTA SUBMISSION'. Text should be sent in the body of an email, and NOT attached as a document file. This is important. All formatting will be done by Elizabeth, but if formatting in your piece is important, please indicate where necessary within square brackets in the body of the text. NO ATTACHMENTS PLEASE. Pictures should also be sent inside the email in the first instance. (Most picture programmes will allow you to do this.) When we are able to publish, you will be told where to send the pictures, as attached separate .jpeg files. Please follow these instructions carefully as we have found that attachments can create problems in certain circumstances. You should also include in your email a paragraph about yourself, as well as when you attended Peralta (maximum length 300 words). We hope to publish twice a year, in January and in July. Deadline for submission to Issue Two is 1st June 2005. We look forward to hearing from you.
