It takes only about 30 minutes to drive from Peralta to Torre del Lago where the famous Puccini Festival is held each July/August. 

The operas are beautifully produced, outside, by the lake. If you enjoy opera, then it is well worth while trying to combine a visit to Peralta with one of the following dates. You could either come for a week and stay in one of our self catering properties, or come for a long weekend and enjoy the B&B rooms, take in at least one opera, laze around the pool or on a terrace amongst the olive groves, enjoy Laura’s delicious Tuscan cooking, visit Lucca ………….. Peralta is perfect for such a relaxing holiday!

A rich programme of events from June until August fot the 52nd Puccini Festival.

Extraordinary opening event on June 18th with a Puccinian concert conducted by Niksa Bareza

In July and August a poker of Puccini's operas: TOSCA with the new staging by Igor Mitoraj, TURANDOT, LA BOHEME, MADAMA BUTTERFLY.
On August 3rd and 9th in Torre del Lago for the first time in Europe JUNIOR BUTTERFLY, the sequel of Madama Butterfly. The opera of the Japanese composer Shigeaki Saegusa which tells the story of Cio Cio San's son with the background of the terrible war and the tragedy of the nuclear bomb.
