CASA GIOVANNI is part of the medieval hillside hamlet
of Peralta in Tuscany which was restored by the well
known sculptor Fiore de Henriquez. This is a house on
two floors, sleeping four people, which we have recently
renovated. It is spacious and extremely comfortable.
You can enter Casa Giovanni on either floor. The top
floor has 2 bedrooms: one large double with ensuite
bathroom (bed 1,80m), one twin or double (1.60m) which
has its own washroom, and then its bathroom on lower
floor. The large living room has floor to ceiling glass
doors down one side of the room leading to a covered
balcony from which you have a fabulous, panoramic view
over the valley. Facing south, this balcony is a delight
in the cooler months. The lower floor has a spacious
dining room leading to a large terrace with a superb
view; the kitchen has a shaded terrace - the ‘summer
dining room’ – surrounded by olive trees
and looking towards the sea. Both these terraces face
south and are totally private. There is a second bathroom
on the lower floor.
Sunsets seen from the house are stunning. The house
is situated in front of and below the hamlet of Peralta
and is therefore very private - you can forget there
is anyone else around and be in your own world, or mingle
with other guests of Peralta - the choice is your’s.We
can recommend Casa Giovanni for the winter months as
it has excellent central heating (air conditioning in
summer!). It is ideal for the Christmas and New Year
break, and its spectacular view of the valley is perfect
for viewing the fireworks that burst up at midnight
all over the hills and valley. Quite an extraordinary
sight! The guests of Casa Giovanni share Peralta’s
pool, set on a terrace above the hamlet with a bird’s
eye view of the valley, the hills and the sea.
