JAN MARSH

Jan Marsh is a biographer specialising in artists and writers. She has researched and written extensively on the Pre-Raphaelite circle, and also been guest curator for exhibitions. Currently she is working on the life story of Fiore de Henriquez see Art and Androgony and 'All Woman and Half a Man',a Guardian Feature, 4 August 2001.

 

 

Jan Marsh is Associate RLF Fellow at Queen Mary, University of London (English & Drama Department).

Forthcoming publications include scholarly essays on Ruskin's Sesame and Lilies (ed. Deborah Nord, Yale University Press), May Morris (in Decorative Excess and Women Artists 1885-1935, ed. Janice Helland and Bridget Elliott) and Marie Spartali Stillman (Women and Italy in the Nineteenth Century, ed. Alison Chapman and Jane Stabler, Manchester University Press).
